Peace, I say to the demon that sleeps on my pillow
Peace, I say to the cat that screams on the floor
Peace, I say to the wind that wildly howls at my window
Peace, I say to the mirror I've broken in nobody's name...
Peace, I try to say with the loudest voice I can let go
But the sleeping demon's eyes are freezing me
And the scream of my cat on the messy floor
and the howling wind cover my voice... peaaaaceeeee
Did anyone hear me??? Hellooooo????..................
The pieces of the broken mirror laugh at me:
Who are you talking to, you, fool???
